Diego (Neghe) Zampedri è nato circa 30 anni fa a Graglia tra le montagne Biellesi il 4 luglio (giorno in cui la Terra è più lontana dal Sole)..
Ha conseguito inutilmente un Diploma in Tecnico della Ristorazione che non ha mai utilizzato se non per imparare a produrre le migliori brioches e meringate alla frutta di tutta Biella!
Non ha viaggiato tanto perchè sempre impegnato a perdere tempo nei campi di gioco e perciò non ha mai imparato mezza lingua straniera nonostante il suo curriculum vitae attesti ben altro..
Ha passato gran parte della sua vita rincorrendo sogni di gloria e palloni da basket finchè un giorno di pioggia non si è accorto che si sentiva perfettamente a suo agio con pennelli e colori ad olio tra le mani.
Qui subentra l'amico maestro Davide Vitale, che gli insegna i primi rudimenti artistici, con consigli e tante risate.
I suoi quadri possono tuttora essere ammirati in alcuni dei più noti locali di Biella.
Con uno stile inconfondibile e vivaci colori le sue opere tracciano i contorni di luoghi magici che ancora non ha visitato alla guida di mezzi hippy e demodè che ha sempre sognato..
Diego (Neghe) Zampedri was born about 30 years ago in Graglia, between the Biella mountains on July 4 (day in which the Earth is further away from the Sun).
He got a useless diploma in Restaurant Management, which he never used even though he learned to make the best croissants and fruit cakes in Biella!
He hasn't travelled much because he was always too busy wasting time on the basketball fields.
That's why he's never learned half a language, eventhough his Curriculum Vitae declares otherwise.
He's spent most of his life chasing glory dreams and basket balls until, on a rainy day, he realized he felt completely at ease with brushes and oil paint between his fingers.
At this point his friend and guru Davide Vitale came along, and taught Neghe the firts Art fundamentals, through advice and laughters.
His works can still be admired in some of the best known bars in Biella and surroundings.
With an unmistakable style and lively colors, his paintings trace the outline of magical places he hasn't visited yet at the helm of hippy, and out-of-fashion means of transport he's always dreamed of..
